Will to Win, the Lammas Enclosure tennis operator, with the support of the Council, has submitted a planning application (that is open for comments until 26th February) to build two Padel tennis courts with floodlights in Lammas Enclosure.  This follows a vigorously opposed attempt to introduce this facility to part of the area occupied by the croquet lawns in Lammas Park. This is what they propose in Lammas Enclosure (and the floodlights will be another two metres higher):

Although just outside our area, WRA supported a very large number of local neighbours who objected to an application by developers to build houses on a hidden green space behind the Red Lion pub on St Mary's Road.
